Strategic Training Institute

PURPOSE

The Strategic Training Institute seeks to equip and release those with a heart for prophecy and intercession in a new arena - the workplace. In this wisdom-rich environment, intercessors will mature in their giftings and experience a change in their lives both personally and professionally.

The courses of the Strategic Training Institute are an intensive walk with the Lord. They will include sessions of:

  • Instruction
  • Small Group Interaction
  • Role playing
  • Practical hands-on training
  • Growth in Intercessory and Prophetic Giftings

COURSES OF STUDY

I. HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD

As a student, you will learn the basics of hearing and discerning the voice of the Lord. This one-week course will utilize various teaching methods to prepare you to hear from the Lord in your daily walk with Him. The course sections include topics such as:
  • Discerning His Voice
    • Worship
  • The Study of God's Word
  • Journaling
  • Hearing God's Voice Corporately


    • This course is a prerequisite to all subsequent courses.

    II. RELEASING THE PROPHETIC

    This practicum class will show you how to release the prophetic word of God into everyday situations. This course is a continuation of Course 1, Hearing the Voice of God, and will include the following topics:
  • Hearing, Giving and Receiving Prophetic Words
  • Testing and Judging Prophetic Words
  • Understanding Presbytery
  • Working as a Prophetic Team
  • Journaling Prophetic Words
  • Pitfalls of Prophecy


    • This course is a prerequisite to Course III.

    III. IMPARTATION AND DEMONSTRATION

    The third class is designed to enhance and include the teachings of the first two courses. Leaders from church, business or society will share their experiences in an interactive atmosphere. Leaders will also share how the Lord has used their relationship with Him to direct their daily lives and businesses. Students will also learn practical applications such as:

  • Prayer and Prophetic Etiquette
  • Working on a Prayer Team
  • Praying On-Site
  • Leading a Group


    • Upon completion of all three courses, the student will graduate from The Strategic Training Center. They will be eligible to apply to the Association of Certified Intercessors.

    HOW TO ENROLL

    Each course is limited to 26 students in order to maintain a spirit of one-on-one interaction. The courses build upon one another and must be taken in consecutive order. To maintain the necessary team environment, students are required to attend the full week.

    Each three day course fee is $150 which includes a non-refundable $50 deposit payable with Registration. Balance of $100 payable at class. Housing and meals are NOT covered in this cost. Students are required to attend the full three days of sessions.

    You must complete and return an Application along with the $50 deposit to the address listed. You will be notified by mail or email as soon as you are accepted, along with additional information. If we receive your enrollment after the first 26 students have been accepted, you may attend the next scheduled course or have your fee returned.     INSTRUCTORS

    Beth Alves, Founder of the Strategic Training Center and President of Intercessors International

    Co-founded the ministry with her husband, Floyd, in 1973. "Lord, teach me to pray," became her desperate cry when Beth first began to intercede. God, in his faithfulness, answered this prayer. Over the years the Lord has unfolded simple, yet profound, truths that she has imparted to others. Rising to a new level of impartation, Beth founded the Strategic Training Center to equip and place intercessors in the corporate world. As Beth shared the principles of prayer and how to flow in the prophetic giftings, thousands from the nations have been launched into ministry. By capturing the hearts of her listeners with gentle humor and simplicity, she encourages them as they learn to hear the voice of the Lord. Beth received the Doctor of Practical Ministry from Wagner Leadership Institute. She and Floyd have been married for over 50 years and have four daughters, fifteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

    Tom Schlueter, Pastor of Prince of Peace Church, Arlington, Texas

    Has pastored Prince of Peace Church for over 16 years. He obtained a Bachelors degree at Texas A&M before receiving his Masters of Divinity at Wartburg Theological Seminary. He currently directs Arlington Prayer Net, serves on the Board of the International Fellowship of Christian Professionals and oversees prayer coverage for several ministries. Pastor Tom's heart for Jesus and his vision for worship and prayer permeate his teaching style. He has a gift of using everyday life experiences to illustrate kingdom principles. You will come away from his sessions witha new appreciation of the meaning of prayer and a deeper hunger for intimacy with the Father. His wife, Kay, is a vital part of his ministry. They have three children.
